Highly recommend touring with Taiga. We booked a day guided tour with Taiga in Kyoto in December for our family of four. Taiga tailored the guide to our desired itinerary and recommended additional spots outside of the regular tourist hotspots. He was incredibly generous (tolerant) with our kids (ages 8 and 6) and got us access to experiences that we would not have been able to book or find on our own. It was great mix of sight seeing, food discovery and incredible authentic experiences. Thank you Taiga!

We went on a walking tour of Kyoto and a day trip to Nara with Taiga and both were highly enjoyable experiences. He is a thoughtful and considerate guide with an excellent command of English and a good sense of humor. He solicited information about our interests and tailored the itinerary accordingly. We are in our early 70s and Taiga set an appropriate pace for us. He gave us great restaurant tips and helped us get a reservation at a sought-after restaurant which turned out to be one of the most memorable meals we’ve ever had.

Our family of three were lucky enough to have Taiga as our personal tour guide for two separate days in Japan. He was thoughtful, attentive, charming, gracious. He’s excellent at directions, Japanese history and culture and is a blast to hang out with. He was fabulous and accommodating to my 7 year old American son, even carrying him on his back for a short time when his little legs ran out of steam. You can’t get better than this fantastic dude !

Taiga was waiting for us in the cruise ship terminal and took the time to see what was of interest to us.

He speaks perfect English and is very knowledgeable on many things including Japanese history and culture.

We had a fabulous day in Kyoto followed by a delicious meal of Kobe beef when we returned.

He is a joy to spend time with and by the end of the day we had made a new friend.

I cannot recommend Taiga highly enough for your time in Japan.

You are guaranteed to laugh and to learn.

We loved the day we spent with Taiga! We took the bullet train from our cruise ship to Kyoto and saw all the highlights. We had some amazing lunch of soba and udon with herring which was so special! Finally, we spent some time shopping and ended with a matcha ceremony with a master before returning back to our ship! Would recommend Taiga to everyone!!
