Trip from Kobe to Kyoto

04/29/2026

Taiga advised us on the places to visit in Kyoto. We went with Yumiko (our private guide) from Kobe to Kyoto by Shinkansen (impressive) and visited the Arashiyama district (Bamboo Forest and Tenryu-ji Zen Temple) where we had lunch. Thereafter we went to the Golden Temple (Kinkaku -ji) and thereafter back to Kobe with the Bullet train. The tour was very well organized, and Taiga was very helpful from the very first contact. He even advised on a good restaurant in Kobe where we had a delicious dinner. I can strongly recommend Japan Legacy Travel!

Fantastic day in Kyoto

04/17/2026

My mother and I had specific ideas how we wanted to spend our one day in Kyoto. Our cruise ship docked in Kobe. Taiga met us at the terminal, and we took the bullet train to Kyoto for our private tour. Taiga not only ensured that we visited all destinations but also gave us insightful historical and cultural information. The tour exceeded our expectations!

Trip to Japan

04/05/2026

We had a fantastic day with our tour guy Takeshi. He catered to our tour bucket list: Bullet train, Kinkaku-Ji Temple (Golden Pavilion), soba noodle soup and sushi for lunch, Gushimi Inari-taisha Shrine (very good pick from Takeshi) and finally Geisha show. He was with us entire day and sent us off with the Taxi back to our ship. The tour was great but expensive because we had a large taxi for all our destinations in order to save time and steps.
